SEAS THE DAY

Our Boat, Seas the day, is a beautiful Mallard Ski Boat.  She was first built in 1998, but has undergone some major upgrades and maintenance to ensure she is not only sea worthy, but also comfortable and in great condition.  A forward cabin was built to reduce wind and sea spray, making the trip across False Bay even more comfortable and enjoyable.  Our boat is fully registered with the South African Maritime Safety Association.  It has been authorised to carry a maximum of 7 people (5 guests, the skipper and a deck hand).  The boat is also permitted to travel up to a maximum of 40 nautical miles off shore.

The safety of all our guests and staff is of the utmost importance to us.  For that reason, all safety equipment, such as life jackets, flares, fire extinguishers are up-to-date and in excellent condition. A fully stocked first aid kit is also one of our standard safety equipment.

Our boat is equipped with two brand new 100hp engines.  These engines are always maintained in peak condition to ensure that our guests reach their destination as fast as possible.  We have two fuel tanks on board and on longer trips, we also ensure that we have additional fuel on board.
